I have just upgraded my mirrorless camera to one that is better suited to landscape photography and a new wide angled lens. I haven’t really been out an about for taking landscapes, but I snatched these when I was walking around my home town (St Neots) the other day.
This shot was taken in Snowdonia a few weeks ago. There was not much wind so reflections around the edges of the lake were reasonably good. The purples of the trees in the left foreground particularly caught my eyes.
I took this on a wonderful road/rail trip through the USA in Sept 2015. This was one of the many jaw-dropping vistas we were treated to on that trip.
Early morning in Monument Valley and a perfectly still lake provides a mirror to the sandstone monoliths.

This simple bridge by the gardens to the east of St Marks had some lovely reflections in the water.
