I took this back in 2007, with an Canon Rebel XT (350D) – an entry level DSLR, handheld and standing on the some scaffolding four storeys up in a pretty dangerous location. Things I didn’t know in 2007. 1) For landscape ALWAYS SHOOT WITH A TRIPOD. 2) ALWAYS SHOOT IN RAW. That said, I was pleased that I got a different composition than the standard picture of the Seattle skyline, as it was not taken in Kerry Park which is pretty standard and where I got this picture (on a tripod, with an ND filter, in RAW) some years later on a winter’s day.
